One important part of that law that’s often overlooked is that insurance companies have some wiggle room they can use to limit coverage if you’re renting out your RV. This can affect you if you rely on your auto insurance to cover your RV. Your insurer may not allow it.

Where RV Insurance Gaps Can Happen in PA

Pennsylvania law says that the rental period starts the minute the renter takes possession of the RV and the rental period ends at the agreed return time. It’s during that period that the rental policy usually applies.
